Okay, so I've been using this Amazon Basics Smart Plug Power Strip for about a month now, and here's the tea ☕️
First off, the setup was STUPID easy. Like, plug it in, open Alexa app, and bam - connected in under 2 minutes. No hub needed which is 👌
The three individually controlled outlets are LIFE. I've got my lamp, humidifier and phone charger all on different schedules. Alexa turns my bedroom into a cozy cave every night at 9pm automatically ✨
BUT... the USB ports? Kinda mid. They charge slower than my wall adapter, but hey - extra charging spots when you need 'em!
Design-wise, it's sleek AF. The white color blends with my IKEA furniture aesthetic perfectly. Though fair warning - if you've got bulky plugs, spacing can get tight.
Had one weird glitch where an outlet stopped responding after a month, but resetting fixed it. Fingers crossed it stays working 🤞
Overall? 8/10 would recommend if you're building a smart home on a budget. Just don't expect miracles from those USB ports!
