Okay, let's talk about these Skechers slippers that have been my winter companions for the past year and a half. First impression? SO SOFT. That faux fur lining feels like walking on clouds (if clouds were warm and fuzzy).
The memory foam isn't super thick - maybe quarter inch max - so don't expect miracle arch support. But for casual wear? Perfectly comfy. I did add my own inserts for my high arches and there was still plenty of room.
Size tip: They run slightly snug! I normally wear size 6 and these fit perfectly without socks. If you're a sock-wearer, maybe go up half size. Major props to Skechers for offering half sizes though - why is this so rare in slippers?!
The sole is my favorite part - sturdy enough for quick outdoor trips (mailbox runs FTW) but still flexible for indoor comfort. No more awkward penguin-walking when I need to take out the trash!
Now the not-so-great: There's this one rough seam that bugged me at first. Took about a week for my feet to toughen up (or maybe the seam softened?). Also, after 1.5 years of near-daily use (except summer), they're pretty much done.
Final verdict? For the price, they're great seasonal slippers - cute, warm, and practical. Just don't expect them to last forever. I'm actually considering buying another pair because despite wearing out, they served me well!
