I've been using the Brooklyn Blue Light Blocking Glasses for a few weeks now, hoping they'd help with my late-night screen sessions. The idea of blocking 100% of blue and green light sounded perfect for my sleep struggles.
The glasses do have a stylish look that I appreciate. They're lightweight and don't feel heavy on my nose, which is great for extended wear. I noticed some improvement in falling asleep after evening computer use, though it's hard to say how much is placebo effect.
However, there are some real issues. The lenses are extremely dark - almost too dark for indoor use. I found myself squinting at my computer screen, which kind of defeats the purpose. The frame feels cheap and flimsy too; I'm constantly worried about snapping them when adjusting.
The biggest disappointment? The vision distortion is real. Everything looks slightly warped through these lenses, making them uncomfortable for anything beyond casual browsing. For the price, I expected better optical quality.
Would I recommend them? Maybe if you find them heavily discounted on Amazon (with easy returns). But at full price with their questionable durability and vision issues, there are probably better options out there.
