First off, this lamp is STUNNING. The onyx marble has these wild yellow, orange, and green striations that make it look like a tiny slice of sunset. During the day it's a conversation piece, and at night? Oh man, that warm amber glow is pure magic.

The weight surprised me - this thing is SOLID (7.6lbs of pure marble luxury). Came with everything ready to go - bulb included (though I swapped it for a brighter dimmable LED later). The dimmer cord works like a charm for setting just the right mood.
