Alright, so I grabbed this MaySpare steering wheel lock hoping for some extra peace of mind. Here’s the lowdown after testing it on a couple of my rides.

The Good: First off, the bright yellow color is a win—thieves can spot this thing from a mile away. The steel feels sturdy, and the rubber coating keeps my steering wheel scratch-free. I like that you NEED the key to adjust or remove it—no accidental lockouts if you forget the key (been there with other brands… ugh).

The Meh: It works fine on my Ram 2500 (barely), but in my Jeep Wrangler? Forget it. The length just doesn’t reach from pedal to wheel, even with adjustments. Also, the hook part is oddly narrow—it only fits certain spots on the wheel, which feels limiting.

Final Verdict: It’s a decent visual deterrent and does its job… if your vehicle plays nice with the sizing. 3/5 stars—great idea, but needs tweaks for universal fit.
