Installing the Drive-up Club Car Forward and Reverse Shifter Assembly was mostly straightforward, but I hit a snag with the yellow cam. Unlike the product description claims, mine didn't come pre-adjusted correctly - the cam lobe just wouldn't lift the micro switch lever no matter how I positioned it.
Ended up having to reuse my original yellow cam (which worked perfectly) while keeping the new shifter body and hardware. The rest of the assembly feels sturdy though, and those replacement nuts and screws came in handy for other maintenance projects.
For DIYers: keep your old cam as backup. The kit's worth it for the main assembly if you're okay with potential minor part-swapping. Just don't expect true plug-and-play like advertised when it comes to that yellow component.
