Okay, so I finally got my hands on these Granicell AAA rechargeables after hearing mixed things. First off, the name sounds like some sci-fi energy source, but hey, I’m here for performance, not branding.
Out of the box, they were pre-charged (thank you, wind energy!), which is a huge plus. Popped them into my TV remote and—no lie—they’ve been going strong for weeks. My old disposables would’ve given up by now.
The 1100mAh capacity is no joke. Compared to my Eneloops (which I swear by), these hold their own. Used them in my bike light for nighttime rides, and they didn’t die mid-route. That’s a win in my book.
Price-wise? Solid deal for a 16-pack. Cheaper than constantly buying alkalines, and way more eco-friendly. Though fair warning: if you’re used to 1.5V batteries, the 1.2V might throw you off at first (it did for me). But they work just fine in all my gadgets.
Verdict: Weird name, great batteries. Would buy again—just maybe not put them in my will like that one reviewer suggested.
