Alright, so I finally got my hands on the Hanizi Hanging Bird Feeder, and here's the tea ☕.
First off, the design is pretty sleek—brown plastic with a clear seed chamber. Super easy to fill (just pop open the lid and dump in the seeds). I use black oil sunflower seeds, and it holds a TON—like, 47 oz? My backyard birds are living their best life.
But let’s talk flaws. That center hanging wire? Yeah, it’s basically a water slide for rain straight into the seeds. Had to MacGyver it with a plastic cap (shoutout to my pill bottle stash) to block the water. Works like a charm now though.
The birds? Obsessed. Finches, chickadees—they showed up within hours. Cardinals? Nah, they’re too bougie for this feeder. It’s like they see it and go 'Nope, not fancy enough.'
Squirrels haven’t touched it (yet), but the perches got wrecked fast—not sure if it’s birds or secret squirrel ninjas. Seller sent a replacement tho, so props for customer service.
Verdict: Solid 4/5. Cute, functional, but needs some DIY love to be perfect.
