Okay, so I bought this door handle alarm thinking it would be my home's new superhero. And guess what? It kinda is... when it decides to work.
First off, the GOOD: When this thing works, it WORKS. That 120db scream could wake up my entire neighborhood (sorry, neighbors). I love how it triggers at the slightest touch - no vibration nonsense. I even gifted a few to friends because the concept is brilliant.
Now the BAD: Battery compartment? Absolute nightmare. Had to perform surgery just to get batteries in/out. And the switch? More like a suggestion than an actual switch. Half the units I got were basically decorative pieces.
The UGLY: It's either too sensitive or not sensitive enough - like my ex deciding when to text back. One minute it's screaming because a fly landed nearby, next minute a burglar could waltz right in and nada.
Final verdict? When it works, it's amazing security for the price. But you might need to buy 4 to get 1 functional unit (which explains why I now own a small army of these).
