Okay, so I finally got these mulberry leaves for my shrimp tank after hearing all the hype. First impression? The leaves themselves look legit - nice and dry, with that organic vibe. My cherry shrimps went NUTS when I dropped one in! Like little aquatic vacuum cleaners.
BUT (and this is a big but)... the packaging was tragic. Mine arrived looking like someone used the bag as a football. Half the leaves were crushed into confetti. Pro tip: if you order these, pray they come in a box or you'll be feeding shrimp dust.
The good news? Even the tiny pieces worked when I used tweezers to place them carefully. After soaking for a day, my whole cleanup crew (shrimps AND snails) had an absolute feast. The water did get slightly cloudy though - maybe from the leaf powder?
Would I buy again? Honestly yes, because my shrimp clearly love them more than almond leaves. But seller, PLEASE fix the packaging! These delicate leaves deserve better than getting tossed around in flimsy bags.
