Okay, so I've been using these Alsenor goggles for my at-home IPL sessions for about a month now, and here's the real tea...
First off - YES they're dark. Like, 'who turned off the lights?' dark when you first put them on. But after 2-3 uses, your eyes adjust and you can actually see what you're doing (just don't try using them in a dim room).
The comfort level is A+. They don't squeeze my head like some cheaper goggles I've tried, and they actually fit over my prescription glasses when I'm too lazy to put contacts in.
Major win? No more eye strain after IPL sessions. I used to get headaches from the flashes, but these block everything - even that annoying peripheral light that sneaks in with other goggles.
Only con? They might be TOO protective for some people. My friend borrowed them and complained she couldn't see her skin clearly enough. But personally? I'd rather have over-protection than laser damage!
Final verdict: For the price, these are absolute lifesavers (eye-savers?). Definitely recommend for serious at-home IPL users.
